Junior Academy

Here at Heysham Golf Club we have proudly produced numerous Professionals, Elite Golfers and hundreds of new golfers over the past 25 Years. Under the tuition of Ryan & Trevor our Junior Academy now boasts 3 regular classes with often around 35 attendees, plus a route onto the Golf Course in our 'Blue Tee' events. Now in 2023 even further afield taking part in the 'Golf Sixes' League. Find out how you can get involved in our flexible Saturday Morning Coaching Sessions.

Saturday Morning Coaching

1-Hour| £5 per Session

Equipment can be provided

Our Saturday Morning Group Sessions are weekly and are based on a flexible ' Pay as you go' approach. Simply Pay when you come.

When you come for the first time we will add you to our WhatsApp Group where we will inform you of any changes, cancellations or to advertise special junior events. We will also add pictures of our coaching session into this group.

The sessions are with either Trevor or Ryan and run weekly. On the rare occasions it won't be on we will notify you on our WhatsApp group. We take a winter break usually from around mid December until mid January. Inclement weather can often cause sessions to be cancelled but this is rare due to our incredible facilities. Our sessions often rotate weekly around the Driving Range, Chipping Areas and Putting Green.

9am Group| Under 10s| This Group is aimed for beginner golfers, those under 10 and progression from here will be to the 10am Group

10am Group| Advanced under 10s| This group is for more advanced Under 10 players. Some in this group may also be just over the age of 10.

11am Group| Over 10s or Advanced youngsters| This group is for over 10 players but can include some advanced players under 10 that regularly play on the course.

We try to offer flexibility so your child could come at a different time slot on occasion if it fits in better with your plans. This is at our discretion. Our aim to get Juniors into some form of play, practice or coaching as much as we possibly can.

Don't fancy group coaching? We also offer one-to-one lessons that can be booked here. This can also be a great place to start if your child is new to the game.
